Satisfying the highest acoustic requirements
High-quality sound control with the material Sylomer® in the modern Red Bull music studios in Tokyo.
Elastic decoupling of internal structures
Recording studios, nightclubs or cinemas all place particularly high demands on soundproofing from inside and outside. Getzner offers effective materials for the acoustic separation of ceilings, walls or floors in new build and renovation projects. With a suspended ceiling, the sound transmission from adjacent rooms is significantly reduced using elastic ceiling hangers with Sylomer®. The sound decoupling of dry lining in dry construction works according to a similar principle: by means of an elastic attachment, the transmission of noise through the wall is demonstrably reduced here as well and the minimum sound control requirements are guaranteed at all times.
The combination of a suspended ceiling, dry lining and floating floor construction (ceiling+wall+floor) creates what are known as room-in-room systems, also referred to as box-in-box. This form of sound decoupling is particularly suitable for areas with very sensitive requirements, such as laboratories or libraries. Optimal soundproofing and the best possible acoustics are vital for day-to-day work here. Very noisy rooms such as machinery rooms are no exception: the sound level can be drastically reduced and the room acoustics significantly improved here, even if no structural measures can be implemented.
Your advantages with sound control from Getzner
- Customised products for ceilings, walls and floors for individual acoustic requirements

- High degree of planning reliability for dry construction solutions thanks to proven effectiveness
Case Study
Three steps to success
The challenge: Soundproofing of a cinema complex in a popular shopping centre with increased demands on room acoustics
The Getzner solution: Vibration decoupling of the spectator rows using discrete bearings
The result: An undisturbed cinema experience thanks to effective sound control even in the low-frequency range
„The Grandberry Mall has since closed. Subsequent tests on the material have shown, however, that our optimal sound control has lost none of its effectiveness in more than 14 years of service life.“
