Getzner Werkstoffe continues to grow

Buers, Austria. In 2015 the vibration protection provider Getzner Werkstoffe recorded a turnover of 78 million euros, an increase of 11 percent compared to the year before. The company ascribed the positive result in particular to a stronger market presence in Europe, Asia and North America, and the higher demand that ensued.

Getzner, one of the leading experts in the field of vibration protection, can look back on 2015 with satisfaction. An overall turnover of 77.9 million euros – 11 percent higher than in the previous year – has seen the company continue its growth from 2014. “We have strengthened our market presence in several key countries, as shown by the new French site that we opened in 2015. We have also been intensively cultivating the North American market, with a number of projects, such as vibration protection for a section of railway track alongside the Weston GO Station in Ontario, Canada, having been successfully completed,” reports Juergen Rainalter, Chief Executive Officer of Getzner Werkstoffe. Getzner's experts have also been on the ground in Brazil and China equipping test tracks for heavy-freight railway links with elastic materials, while in Ecuador a vibration protection solution has been installed for a tramway line in the Old Town of Cuenca, part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. “Our head office in Buers has also contributed some pleasing successes. We have added new products to our range and have made further efficiency savings within the company,” continues Juergen Rainalter. Some of the best results were not just restricted to the German-speaking world, either. The figures show a particularly positive trend in Scandinavia, France, Italy, the Middle East, Japan, China and south-east Asia as well.
