Under Tie pads
Under Tie Pads (UTP) provide vibration protection, preserve the ballast under the tracks and improve track stability. They can be installed both in high-speed rail lines and in lines with high axle loads, as well as in existing standard gauge lines, during repairs and retrofitting.
Thanks to an optimized bonding system, Getzner Under Tie Pads (UTP) are pre-fitted to the ties during the manufacturing stage. As a result, no additional work is required at the installation site. Installation is quick, unaffected by weather conditions and can be carried out with minimal service interruptions.
The advantages for you
- The railway superstructure has defined elasticity
- Increased track quality
- Ballast enjoys a longer service life
- Less short pitch and rail corrugation on the rail running surface
- Can be installed quickly through pre-assembly on the ties
- Ideal for retrofitting a vibration protection solution
