New product range: Sylodyn® Construction Series
Innovative product advancement
The desire for a protected space with a high quality of living and working applies to almost every area of our lives. Yet ever-increasing urbanisation and the growing demand for inner-city living are causing buildings to be constructed in areas subject to vibrations, which in turn require special measures and innovative solutions. Effective vibration protection here is not simply a question of comfort, but a necessity.
Our proven products Sylomer® and Sylodyn® have been successfully used for decades for the highly efficient elastic decoupling of buildings and thus protect against unwanted vibrations and structure-borne noise. Sources of disturbance such as railway traffic, commercial premises or even technical equipment can be targeted and isolated with Getzner’s customised solutions.
The new Sylodyn® Construction Series has been specially developed to further increase the effectiveness of vibration isolation, once again redefining the limits of what was previously thought possible. The use of our new material series meets the highest customer requirements and is also possible under challenging environmental conditions.

What professional planners should know
The product series optimised for the full-surface bearing for buildings is based on our tried-and-tested material Sylodyn®, which has been used successfully around the world for decades and whose long-term stability has been confirmed in various follow-up measurements.
A new thickness graduation enables a targeted layout for the required natural frequency.
The material has a closed-cell design and can therefore also be used in groundwater without any loss of performance.
