Bearing of cogeneration plants (CHP)
Minimise noise while increasing device service life
In addition to the emergency power supply, e.g. in hospitals, power generators with combustion engines are also used as cogeneration plants for simultaneous heat recovery. These generate high levels of structure-borne noise due to their large, moving masses and accelerations. To prevent long-term damage to the shell of the building and avoid health hazards for individuals, elastic bearing of the systems is required. Cogeneration plants and emergency generators
Advantages
- Reduction in secondary airborne noise (noise level)
- Protection of the shell of the building from long-term damage
- Long service life
- Durable elastic properties ensure long-lasting effect
- Extremely low natural frequencies possible (from 3 Hz)
- Weather- and UV-resistant
- Extremely effective even at cold temperatures
