Austria’s Leading Companies: Getzner crowned Vorarlberg's best 'Big Player' once again

At the 'Austria's Leading Companies' (ALC) competition held at the start of November, Getzner Werkstoffe Holding GmbH was chosen as the Vorarlberg regional winner of the 'Big Player' category – for companies with more than 50 million euros of turnover – by a panel of judges. Getzner had to fight off competition from numerous top companies taking part in the ALC competition this year to be crowned winner. Various key figures from our balance sheets over the past three years were crucial in swinging the panel's decision in our favour. This allowed the company to back up last year's win with another triumphant performance.

"Business is running very smoothly: in Europe, where we have had a market presence for more than 45 years, we are exceeding expectations, as we are in the Middle East. But even in the USA, where we have only had a presence for around 18 months, business is excellent, and the same in China," Chief Executive Officer Jürgen Rainalter is pleased to report. This year we are aiming for a turnover of between 75 and 80 million, ably assisted by around 320 employees. "Our growth is set to continue – after all, Getzner Werkstoffe is increasing its business by 10% each year on average," Jürgen Rainalter concluded.
