Excellent training for apprentices

On Monday 14th November 2016, Getzner was awarded the accolade of “excellent apprenticeship” firm for the 6th time. Head of HR Bernd Laengle and Apprenticeship Officer Reinhard Gantner accepted the award. The award from the Vorarlberg State Government and the Economic and Labour Chamber  is bestowed every three years.

Getzner attaches great importance to apprenticeships – they are a long-standing tradition at the company. Currently, eleven apprentices are being trained as skilled laboratory technicians, metal technicians, industrial management assistants and IT technicians at Getzner. Some of them complete their training on a rotational basis, whereby they become familiar with all of the company's fields of work. All apprentices have the opportunity to remain at Getzner when their apprenticeship comes to an end and continue their development at the international company.
