Getzner donates car to social care association
Getzner Werkstoffe has donated a new car to the Bürs nursing and social care association (KBV). Financed by Getzner, the new vehicle will be used for attending daily care appointments at patients' homes. After being blessed by the local chaplain, it was presented to the nurses on Bürs' church square. Chief Executive Officer Jürgen Rainalter was on hand to celebrate the occasion and was just as delighted as the members of KBV Bürs themselves: “We are proud to be making such a valuable social contribution. KBV Bürs makes a tremendous difference in helping people in need of care to enjoy a high quality of life, and we fully support their efforts.”
A long-lasting partnership for two decades
Getzner has been supporting the members of KBV Bürs since the 1990s. In fact, the new vehicle is already the third that Getzner has donated to the association, as access to a car is critical for the nurses to conduct their social and care calls within the local community. "This gift underlines our commitment to the town of Bürs. As a local company, it is important to us that we are seen as an example of responsible behaviour in the region," adds Jürgen Rainalter.
