On 2nd February 2018, the State of Vorarlberg paid tribute to this approach: Getzner Werkstoffe was awarded the "Exceptionally family-friendly business" seal of approval. Jürgen Rainalter and Bianca Burtscher, acting as a representative of the Works Council and who happens to be a mother herself, were there to proudly accept the award. The "Exceptionally family-friendly business" initiative recognises companies in Vorarlberg who take extraordinarily family-conscious measures to improve the compatibility between business and family life.
