Getzner again honored as a family-friendly company

Dornbirn. On 31 January 2020, the state of Vorarlberg honoured this commitment under the motto "Family-friendly companies win all along the line". Getzner Werkstoffe was again re-certified with the "Excellent family-friendly company" seal of approval. The certificate was accepted by HR Manager Bernd Längle and works council member Reinhard Gantner. The initiative "Ausgezeichneter familienfreundlicher Betrieb" ("Excellent Family-Friendly Company") honors committed Vorarlberg companies that implement remarkable family-conscious measures to improve the compatibility of work and family life.

A whole range of exemplary activities are behind the certificates awarded: Flexible working time models, measures relating to parental leave and re-entry, special support for fathers, family support services, right up to an appropriate language approach to the subject.  "The compatibility of family and career is very important to us. We therefore offer numerous options within the company that make this easier, such as flexible working hours, job sharing or consideration for family needs in training and further education programs. Our employees are happy to take up the offer, which in turn confirms that we are on the right track. We are pleased about this," emphasizes Managing Director Jürgen Rainalter.
