Making a donation as a Christmas present
Support for social projects instead of classical Christmas presents.
This year, Getzner is surprising its customers with a very special kind of Christmas present: instead of Christmas presents for customers and employees, this year there will be donations. The entire gift budget goes to two charitable institutions in Vorarlberg, which are committed to the integration of people with disabilities.
"Social work projects such as the INTEGRA work initiative in Wolfurt and the Caritas workshop in Ludesch provide an important service to society. Our financial contribution for these work projects helps people in need. This corresponds to the origin of Christmas customs", explains Getzner Managing Director Jürgen Rainalter the decision to donate the gift budget. The work initiative INTEGRA in Wolfurt and the Caritas workshop in Ludesch support the employment of people with disabilities and the professional integration of long-term unemployed people.
Long-term cooperation with social work projects
The INTEGRA work initiative in Wolfurt and the Caritas workshop in Ludesch have a long-standing partnership with Getzner: INTEGRA - has been looking after Getzner's brochure depot for several years now and, on request, puts together appropriate brochure packages for dispatch to customers and interested parties. The institution accompanies long-term unemployed people on their way back into working life. The Caritas workshop in Ludesch, on the other hand, has been producing product samples for Getzner for some time. More than thirty disabled people find a job there in an appreciative atmosphere.
