New company housing complex in Bludenz for Getzner employees.
Affordable housing for employees has always been important to the Getzner companies - and a guarantee of support from qualified professionals. A new residential complex with 61 company flats has been built in Klarenbrunnstraße in Bludenz, which is not only modern but also energy-efficient.
After two years of construction, 61 new Getzner company flats have been completed in Klarenbrunnstraße in Bludenz. The flats complement the existing 130 flats and can be occupied by employees of the three Getzner companies - the holding company Getzner, Mutter & Cie. and the subsidiaries Getzner Textil and Getzner Werkstoffe.
In the newly built complex, flats with different concepts are available: from accommodation for training participants to permanent rent, from one-room flats for individuals to four-room flats for families. The units are sustainably heated with geothermal energy and offer an underground garage as well as communal areas such as the co-living space belonging to the small flats or outdoor areas with a playground.
With the construction of the complex, Getzner not only supports the creation of affordable housing in the region but also offers additional incentives for skilled workers. New staff can be recruited more easily, even beyond the region, and it is easier for them to join the company. For Getzner employees, the flats offer a short route to the workplace, which can easily be covered on foot or by bicycle, and affordable rents below market prices.
Fairness in the allocation of the flats is ensured by a housing committee in which representatives of the works council and the human resources department assess the demand and distribute the available units.
