When changing from one type of superstructure to another, the components come under great stress because of variations in the stiffness. This increases the amount of maintenance required. Solution
Installing elastic elements reduces the shock loads and the vibrations that are transferred as the train passes. The defined use of highly elastic Sylomer® and Sylodyn® components compensates for the undefined variations in stiffness in the transition area.
