New Rischart company headquarters in Munich

The new headquarters of the traditional Munich bakery Rischart is located on Munich's Theresienhöhe. The modern building extends over 22,000 m² and not only serves as the company headquarters, but also houses a large bakery as well as company flats, a boarding house and a café. The new building was necessary due to the limited space available at the current production site and was intended to allow flexible use for production, administration, living and catering.

The challenges

This mix of uses made it necessary to place a special focus on effective sound insulation in order to optimally decouple the differently utilised areas. In order to meet these high demands, the client, in consultation with the building physicist, decided in favour of a full-surface floor bearing system from Getzner Werkstoffe.

The Getzner solution

The Acoustic Floor Mat 35 was laid over 5,000 m² in the production area on the ground floor of the new building. The full-surface use of this mat leads to a very low resonance frequency of the screed and noticeably reduces the sound in the critical frequency range. In addition, the AFM 35 has a low dynamic stiffness and therefore enables an even higher level of impact sound insulation.
